TechFlow news, October 24 — According to a Cointelegraph report, a recent survey released by the American Bankers Association reveals that U.S. banking professionals slightly favor Trump in terms of policy preferences, but most expect Harris to win the 2024 presidential election.
The survey gathered responses from 191 U.S. banking professionals. Results show that 59% of respondents believe Harris is the most likely candidate to win. However, when asked which candidate’s policies would be more favorable for the banking industry, 58% indicated that a Trump administration would better support sector development.
Regarding cryptocurrency and regulatory policies, significant uncertainty remains for banks, as neither candidate has clearly outlined specific plans. Isaac Boltansky, Managing Director of Policy Research at BTIG, said this has forced bankers to "engage in more speculation than usual."
