TechFlow reported on October 24 that, according to foxbusiness, a new political action committee (PAC) called Bitcoin Voter PAC, backed by three major Bitcoin mining companies, has launched a digital advertising campaign in key U.S. swing states aimed at promoting candidates supportive of the cryptocurrency industry.
The campaign is funded by top Bitcoin miners Riot Platforms, Marathon Digital, and CleanSpark, with a combined investment of $2 million. Brian Morgenstern, head of Bitcoin Voter PAC, said the effort could influence tens of thousands of swing voters and potentially shift the balance.
The ads are primarily running on social media platforms, highlighting benefits such as job creation and financial freedom brought by Bitcoin. Targeted candidates include former President Trump, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz, and Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate McCormick—all of whom have received an "A" grade rating from the crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto.
