TechFlow News, October 23 — According to Cryptonews, Bitcoin core developer Peter Todd revealed in an interview with WIRED that he has been facing ongoing harassment after an HBO documentary mistakenly identified him as Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of Bitcoin, forcing him into seclusion.
Despite Todd quickly denying the claim, the harassment has not ceased. He said he received 25 emails from the same person within just two days, requesting help repaying a loan. Todd expects the harassment to continue for some time and has chosen to go into hiding for personal safety reasons. He emphasized that there are valid reasons for Satoshi Nakamoto's anonymity and believes efforts to uncover Nakamoto's identity are futile.
