TechFlow news, October 23 — According to CoinGape, citing sources close to the matter, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon privately supports Kamala Harris's presidential campaign. However, to avoid potential retaliation—especially in the event that Donald Trump wins the election—he has chosen not to make his stance public.
Sources said Dimon has even considered taking a senior role, possibly as Treasury Secretary, in a Harris administration. Nevertheless, Dimon’s public silence reflects broader concerns among corporate executives about possible retaliation from Trump. Although Dimon praised Trump’s tax policies earlier in 2024, he has denied Trump’s claims of having secured his support. A JPMorgan spokesperson explicitly stated that Dimon has not endorsed any presidential candidate.
