TechFlow reports that on October 21, privacy project Ternoa released an updated roadmap on social media platform X. The L2 testnet is currently running smoothly, and the team is accelerating development on two key initiatives.
- The Time Guardian team has made significant progress in achieving compatibility between KMS (Key Management System) and EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine), which is expected to enhance Ternoa's interoperability within the Ethereum ecosystem.
- The Ternoa team is developing a critical tool called TEE Integrity Prover for its L2 components. This tool will serve L2 infrastructure such as browsers, wallets, and indexers, potentially improving the security and reliability of the Ternoa network.
Ternoa stated that deployment of the L2 mainnet built on Polygon CDK will require additional time, as Polygon still needs to complete certain enhancements. In June 2024, Ternoa launched the zkEVM+ testnet—a privacy-focused Layer 2 solution for the Ethereum ecosystem built on Polygon CDK—aimed at introducing censorship-resistant capabilities for developers and users in the Ethereum ecosystem.
