Mark Mordi, Gambaryan's lawyer, requested a recess to assess his client's health condition. The judge agreed and postponed the trial until October 25. Tigran Gambaryan, Binance’s head of financial crime compliance, has been detained in Nigeria since February. Last week, a Nigerian court rejected Gambaryan's bail application on medical grounds. U.S. lawmakers have claimed he is being unjustly detained. His lawyers have repeatedly raised concerns about his poor health and stated that he requires surgery.
