TechFlow news — On October 17, according to Bloomberg, Nishad Singh, former engineering director of FTX, submitted a memorandum through his legal team to a federal judge in Manhattan, requesting that he not be sentenced to prison in connection with the collapse of FTX.
In the memorandum filed Wednesday evening, Singh’s lawyers emphasized three key factors in support of a lenient sentence: first, Singh played a limited role in the FTX collapse; second, he immediately cooperated with investigators after the incident; and third, he has pledged to lead a "model life" moving forward.
