TechFlow reports, on October 16, according to Cointelegraph, an investigation revealed that a cryptocurrency scam in February involving a fake Rabby wallet caused users to lose approximately $1.6 million. The fraudulent app, disguised as DeBank's Rabby Wallet, was available on Apple's App Store for four days before being removed. Recent investigations found the funds were transferred to a wallet named "Konpyl," linked to Konstantin Pylinskiy, CEO of Dubai-based investment firm Moonward Capital, although his direct involvement has not been confirmed. The probe also uncovered connections between this scam and at least 20 other cases, including sophisticated operations to launder money through DeFi services. U.S. government agencies are currently investigating the matter.
