TechFlow News, October 16 — According to The Block, Binance Labs has invested in Lombard, a Bitcoin liquid staking platform. Lombard's total funding now stands at approximately $17 million, up from its $16 million seed round around four months ago, with Binance Labs contributing about $1 million.
It is reported that Lombard's LBTC token is already being used as collateral for lending, yield farming, and trading across various DeFi protocols. This investment by Binance Labs is expected to further drive Bitcoin's adoption and growth within the DeFi ecosystem.
