TechFlow reported on October 16 that, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, two wallets recently suffered heavy losses after depositing their REEF tokens into HTX. Wallet 1 withdrew 180 million REEF (approximately $1.3 million) from Gate on October 12, 2024. Wallet 2 withdrew 630.997 million REEF from Gate between September 23 and 24 at a price of $0.005 per token (around $3 million). After the price dropped by 71.8% within 24 hours, both wallets deposited their tokens into HTX via the same deposit address, incurring total losses of $2.36 million (-55%).
