TechFlow news, on October 16, according to Jinshi Data, Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic, a voting member of the FOMC this year, said that when he updated his projection for the Fed's dot plot in September, he expected the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates by only another 25 basis points this year. However, he noted that his forecast is not set in stone and will be adjusted as needed based on upcoming inflation and labor market data. The Fed cut rates by 50 basis points in September and is expected to implement a series of rate cuts over the coming year to remove some of the policy restraint it previously imposed to curb inflation.
