TechFlow reports, on October 11, Cobo co-founder and CEO Shenyu called on social media for dApps and plugin wallets to at least implement a Permit signature toggle switch.
Previously, SlowMist founder Yu Xian pointed out on platform X that although blind signing mechanisms such as eth_sign have been disabled by most wallets since early 2023, similar offline authorization signatures still pose security risks. While these signatures may save minimal gas fees, they could lead to significant user losses due to carelessness. He urged users to remain highly vigilant when signing any type of transaction, treating every signature as a potential risk.
