TechFlow news — On October 10, according to a document disclosed by @tier10k, the unrecognised micronation of Liberland has announced the results of its latest parliamentary election. Justin Sun, founder of the TRON (TRX) network, emerged victorious in the election and has been nominated as Acting Prime Minister by Liberland President Vit Jedlička.
An official statement from Liberland said that vote counting was completed at 5:00 AM Central European Time on October 6, marking the first full deployment of the country’s blockchain-based electoral system. The election process used a simple set of rules and was entirely algorithmic, designed to ensure transparency and eliminate disputes over results.
Liberland is a self-declared nation established in 2015, located on the border area between Serbia and Croatia, covering just seven square kilometers. It has not received formal recognition from any sovereign state or international organization.
