TechFlow, on October 10, according to Jinshi Data, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States for the week ending October 5 reached 258,000, compared to an expected 230,000 and a prior value of 225,000, marking the highest level since the week of August 5, 2023.
For the week ending September 28, continuing jobless claims in the U.S. amounted to 1.861 million, above the expected 1.83 million; the previous figure was revised from 1.826 million to 1.819 million.
