TechFlow news, on October 10, Mt. Gox officially announced the extension of its bankruptcy compensation deadline by one year to October 31, 2025. The Mt. Gox bankruptcy trustee stated that although compensation for creditors who have completed procedures without issues has been largely finalized, a significant number of creditors have yet to receive compensation due to incomplete reception procedures or other issues. To reasonably compensate these bankruptcy creditors as much as possible, the trustee, with court approval, has extended the compensation deadline from October 31, 2024 (Japan Standard Time) to October 31, 2025 (Japan Standard Time).
