TechFlow News — According to official announcements, Botanika, a startup focused on highly scalable decentralized data storage solutions, has announced the successful completion of a $1.5 million pre-seed funding round. The round attracted 30 angel investors, including Jasmine Zhang, General Partner at A&T Capital, and Aamer Chaudhry, a leader at Accenture.
Siwon Kim, co-founder and CEO of the company, said: "Botanika aims to innovate in an area that has long been overlooked—securely storing and transmitting the rapidly growing data flows on the internet, especially those driven by emerging technologies like generative AI. Our patented solution has the potential not only to surpass existing decentralized storage platforms but also to compete with some of the largest centralized storage providers."
