TechFlow Post - On October 7, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on X: "I appreciate all meme coins that directly donate portions of their supply to charities. For example, I noticed that ebull donated a significant amount of tokens to multiple groups last month."
He also mentioned that any donations sent to him will be re-donated to charitable causes, and specifically thanked the moodeng team for their contribution, stating, "Today's 10 billion tokens will go toward technologies combating airborne diseases. However, I'd prefer if tokens were donated directly to charities—perhaps we could even establish a DAO allowing the community to directly participate in decision-making and distribution processes."
Vitalik reiterated his view on meme coins: "I've said it before—I believe the best outcome for meme coins is to generate the greatest positive-sum impact on the world, so I'm truly delighted to see this actually happening!"
