TechFlow News, October 5 — According to Cointelegraph, the native token of the Sui blockchain, SUI, has shown strong performance recently, rising 115% over the past 30 days. This significant surge is primarily attributed to the successful integration of the USDC stablecoin on the Sui network, which subsequently triggered a sharp rebound in Meme coins within the ecosystem.
Data shows that SUI climbed from its early-September lows to reach a high of $2 on October 4, just 8.8% below its all-time high. In contrast, the total market capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market grew only 4.4%, with Bitcoin rising 7.3%. SUI's performance makes it the second-highest gainer among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap over the past month.
As of October 4, the total market capitalization of Meme coins on the Sui blockchain increased by 15% within 24 hours, reaching $256.3 million. Network activity on Sui has also grown significantly. Trading volume surged from $26.1 million on September 4 to $198.7 million on October 3—an increase of 661%. Total value locked (TVL) in the network rose 63% over the past 30 days, surpassing $1 billion.
