TechFlow news, according to The Block, U.S. SEC is appealing the Second Circuit Court of Appeals' previous ruling on Web3 payments company Ripple, as revealed in newly filed documents.
An SEC spokesperson told The Block: "We believe the district court's decision in the Ripple case conflicts with decades of Supreme Court precedent and securities law, and we look forward to litigating this matter before the Second Circuit."
Previous report, Ripple was fined $125 million in its lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
