TechFlow news: Uniswap Labs指出 that current intent-based systems suffer from fragmentation, each having different fillers and lacking a unified cross-chain standard. To address this, they have partnered with AcrossProtocol to propose the ERC-7683 standard, aiming to solve these issues through a universal filling network.
The ERC-7683 workflow includes users signing cross-chain orders, user funds being held in a settlement contract, and fillers competing to fulfill the order on the destination chain, with the winning filler executing the operation and releasing the funds. Establishing a standardized intent system will improve experiences for applications, fillers, and users—applications can route intents across a broader network, the barrier to entry for fillers is lowered, and users benefit from faster fills and lower gas fees. Notably, anyone can implement ERC-7683.
