TechFlow news: In the early hours of September 28, the Stacks Foundation announced the successful completion of this week's planned Nakamoto testnet hard fork. During the upgrade, core developers identified several bugs related to node communication, primarily concerning term extension issues. While most testnet functions are operating normally, there may be instances of missed sequencing. To address these issues, the testnet may be reset over the weekend.
As a result, the block height for the mainnet hard fork is expected to be slightly adjusted. Core developers plan to release an update with hard fork details before October 4 (Friday) Beijing time.
The Stacks Foundation emphasized that a secure and stable launch remains the top priority, and the schedule may be further adjusted if any new issues are discovered.
