TechFlow reports that BlackRock, the Wall Street giant, has increased its Bitcoin holdings to nearly $23.7 billion in less than a year since launching its Bitcoin ETF. Earlier this week, the firm—managing $9 trillion in assets—purchased an additional $35 million worth of Bitcoin and $6.4 million worth of Ethereum.
According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence, BlackRock's Ethereum reserves have now reached 350,000 ETH, valued at approximately $989 million.
BlackRock primarily manages its Bitcoin holdings through its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), currently holding about 1.70% of the total available Bitcoin supply. In comparison, Grayscale holds around 258,671 bitcoins, worth $16.45 billion, but still leads in Ethereum with over 2.104 million ETH, valued at roughly $5.45 billion. On September 25 Beijing time, BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a single-day net inflow of $184.4 million, the highest for the month.
