TechFlow news, September 26 — According to an official announcement, payment giant PayPal has announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency services, enabling U.S. merchants to conduct on-chain transfers. Jose Fernandez da Ponte, PayPal’s Senior Vice President for Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Digital Currencies, said the move responds to growing merchant demand for cryptocurrency functionality. The new feature allows merchants to make external cryptocurrency transfers to third-party qualified wallets and to send and receive supported cryptocurrency tokens between external blockchain addresses.
