TechFlow reports, Ethereum core developer Péter Szilágyi shared insights on developer motivation. He stated that there is a fundamental misunderstanding about builders. Szilágyi pointed out that most developers start coding before even considering financial returns—they do it because creating things is inherently fun, challenging, and exciting.
He emphasized that while money can buy a developer's time, it cannot buy their passion. Szilágyi believes that to accomplish great work, passion is as essential as time investment.
