TechFlow reports that Litecoin has announced its circulating supply has surpassed 75 million LTC, leaving only 9 million LTC remaining until the maximum supply cap of 84 million is reached. The number of new Litecoins generated per block is halved approximately every four years, with the final litoshi (the smallest unit of Litecoin) expected to be mined around the year 2142. The next halving event is projected to occur at the end of July 2027.
