TechFlow news, September 23 — According to Hong Kong media Aastocks, Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao is set to be released from prison on September 29 and is expected to return to Dubai to reunite with his family. Zhao was sentenced by a U.S. federal court in April this year to four months in prison for money laundering charges and began serving his sentence in California at the end of May. Meanwhile, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has recently filed another lawsuit against Binance, reiterating that the exchange violated federal securities laws.
