TechFlow news — On September 20, according to official announcements, octra, a Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) protocol, has completed a $4 million Pre-Seed funding round led by Finality Capital, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, Karatage, Presto, Builder Capital, and others. Concurrently, octra released a public WASM sandbox demonstrating Hypergraph efficiency in FHE.
octra's architecture is built on "circles," personal clouds featuring optional and programmable privacy. Developers can build complex backend logic for Web2 and Web3 applications within circles. By combining a custom consensus mechanism that leverages machine learning for node selection, along with a hybrid of PoW and PoS, the network ensures robust security for personal data.
