TechFlow news, according to CNBC, Binance CEO Richard Teng revealed in an exclusive interview with CNBC on the sidelines of the Token2049 conference in Singapore that the number of institutional and corporate investors on the platform has increased by 40% year-on-year this year. Teng said institutional allocation to crypto assets is still in its early stages, with a large number of institutions conducting in-depth due diligence. This significant growth reflects rising acceptance of crypto assets such as Bitcoin among major institutional investors, and also indicates that Binance has maintained strong market appeal despite regulatory challenges.
To adapt to evolving global regulatory environments, Binance has transformed its corporate governance structure from a founder-led model to one led by a board of directors comprising seven members. Teng noted that this structural adjustment better aligns with regulators' expectations and supports the company's long-term sustainable development.
