TechFlow news, Vijay Chetty, CEO of Eclipse Labs, a customizable modular rollup project, revealed at the Solana Breakpoint conference in Singapore that the Eclipse mainnet will officially launch by the end of October. Currently, Eclipse has opened its developer mainnet, though the frontend or user interface has not yet been enabled.
Chetty stated that Eclipse will integrate multiple existing "Solana blue-chip applications," including decentralized exchanges Mango and Orca, as well as the lending platform Solend.
Notably, Eclipse is the first Ethereum Layer 2 solution to use the Solana Virtual Machine for transaction execution, aiming to bring Web2-level scalability to Web3 by combining the strengths of Ethereum, Solana, and Celestia.
