TechFlow news, September 19 — According to Cointelegraph, CertiK Ventures, the venture capital arm of blockchain security platform CertiK, announced a $45 million investment initiative aimed at advancing high-potential Web3 projects. The program is designed to accelerate integration and enhance security within the Web3 ecosystem. This move follows the official launch of CertiK Ventures in May 2024, which was established to leverage CertiK’s deep expertise in blockchain security to support emerging blockchain platforms.
On the same day, during the Token2049 conference in Singapore, CertiK announced an upgrade to its Web3 services. The company also launched free community security tools, including Token Scan and Wallet Scan, to help users safeguard their assets. CertiK stated that these tools were developed based on its extensive security experience, which includes conducting over 70 white-hat operations, reporting more than 4,000 security incidents, identifying 115,000 code vulnerabilities, and protecting approximately $360 billion in assets.
