TechFlow news — On September 19, Rune Christensen, founder of MakerDAO, revealed on social media platform X that the newly launched stablecoin USDS surpassed a 200 million supply within just 18 hours of going live. Rune stated that the most popular use case for USDS at present is earning SKY token rewards, though few users understand the specific utility of Chronicle Points. Currently, SKY token rewards are limited to the Ethereum mainnet, but Rune indicated that within the coming months, as Skylink launches, SKY rewards will expand to Layer 2 and other Layer 1 networks. Additionally, with the release of Skylink, a new SPK token rewards program will also be introduced.
