TechFlow news: The social graph protocol Lens has announced a collaboration with Avail DA to build a scalable and resilient decentralized social network.
Avail DA ensures instant data verifiability and accessibility through KZG commitments and Data Availability Sampling (DAS), supporting scalability to millions of users. This partnership aims to address the challenges of scaling social networks on blockchains, especially in handling large volumes of transaction data.
Lens will integrate Avail DA, ZKsync, and Ethereum to build a modular blockchain architecture, significantly increasing throughput and reducing costs.
The new architecture will allow users to freely switch between social applications while retaining all their social connections and social capital. The next-generation Lens is planned for launch in Q4 2024, marking a significant advancement for decentralized social networks.
