TechFlow news, September 18 — According to Decrypt, ESG data solutions provider Nubila Network has officially announced the acquisition of BloomSky, an innovative weather instrumentation and data company. This strategic acquisition aims to strengthen Nubila's ability to build a comprehensive ESG data network, delivering real-time, hyper-local environmental data insights across industries.
Since its founding in 2013, BloomSky has successfully developed the world’s first sky image collection network. To date, the network has accumulated over 10,000 sky images from more than 100 countries and over 2,200 cities across six continents. Since 2015, this global crowdsourced network has continuously gathered nearly a decade of "visible weather" data. BloomSky’s hardware and software IoT technologies will provide critical support for Nubila’s integration of decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN).
Benson, CEO of Nubila Network, said: “This acquisition is not just about business expansion—it’s about democratizing access to real-time, hyper-localized data. By integrating BloomSky’s technology into the Nubila ecosystem, we will deliver the precise data needed to advance global sustainability across industries.”
