TechFlow News — Web3 startup Vana has announced a $5 million strategic funding round led by Coinbase Ventures. With this, Vana's total funding reaches $25 million.
Vana aims to build a user-owned data pool network, leveraging blockchain technology to address the shortage of training data for AI models, while providing internet users with a way to earn income. Vana plans to establish a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) network that enables members to aggregate data collected from social media platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, or X, and sell these datasets to AI researchers.
Previously, Vana raised an $18 million Series A round led by Paradigm.
