TechFlow reports that on September 12, the Compound community released a proposal to extend the Compound Grant Program (CGP), with a budget of $1.375 million, for an additional 12 months. During the previous funding period, Compound received 92 proposals, accepted 23, and disbursed a total of $249,000. The extension aims to evaluate performance, balance costs against community expectations, and improve program outcomes. Going forward, at least one grant will be awarded per RFP to increase proposal completion rates. Of the budget, $800,000 will be allocated to new DApps and innovative ideas, while the remainder will support areas such as security, DAOs, and cross-chain development. Voting is now open and will close on September 15.
