TechFlow news, September 11 — According to The Block, the latest data shows that Solana network fees have dropped to their lowest level in six months. On August 31, Solana's daily average fee was approximately 3,800 SOL, and by September 6, it had slightly rebounded but remained around 4,000 SOL per day. This contrasts sharply with Solana’s performance in Q2 2024, when daily network fees routinely exceeded 10,000 SOL.
The trend in Solana network fees is highly correlated with the activity of the decentralized application Pump.fun. Data indicates that on September 6, fees generated by Pump.fun amounted to only $409,000—down 82% from its peak of $2.31 million on July 30.
