TechFlow reported, citing The Pomp Letter, that Bitcoin has now surpassed U.S. stock markets in total trading hours since the fiat currency era began. Since the Nixon shock on August 15, 1971, U.S. stock markets have been open for approximately 100,700 hours. In contrast, Bitcoin has accumulated over 123,000 trading hours since its launch in 2009—nearly 25% more than the stock market during the fiat era. Despite having a shorter history than the stock market, Bitcoin has already achieved greater maturity in terms of total trading duration.
