TechFlow reports that Cellula has launched the world's first fully on-chain AI game based on the vPOW consensus mechanism, combining GPU computing with Conway's Game of Life to offer users an immersive new take on Bitcoin-style POW mining.
With special support from BNB Chain, Cellula is hosting the 4x4 Genotype BitLife Hackathon—leveraging GPU computing and the rules of the Game of Life to build high-performance 4x4 Genotype BitLife instances, inviting developers worldwide to co-create the most advanced virtual mining rigs for the Cellula ecosystem.
In August this year, Cellula paused minting of the 3x3 Genotype BitLife. This hackathon marks a key step toward the official launch of the 4x4 Genotype BitLife, aiming to spark global developer creativity, deepen community engagement, and provide robust recipe support for miners and future mining equipment manufacturers.
The event runs from September 11 to October 2 (three weeks), with a total prize pool valued at approximately 10,000 USDT, including:
