TechFlow news, on September 9, according to Coinedition, Ripple CTO David Schwartz confirmed that the company's upcoming stablecoin RLUSD will be initially available exclusively to institutional users. Schwartz stated on social media: "It is unlikely that individual users will use RLUSD to transfer or store value unless during a very early testing phase." He emphasized RLUSD's security measures aimed at reducing market manipulation and money laundering risks.
Previous report, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse revealed at the Seoul Blockchain Week event in South Korea that the company is preparing to launch its dollar-pegged stablecoin RLUSD, which is currently in a "private closed testing phase" and expected to officially launch "within weeks, not months."
