TechFlow reported on September 9 that according to Bitcoin.com News, Nikolai Trunichkin, head of digital projects at Moscow Exchange (MOEX), Russia's largest securities market, recently confirmed MOEX will not participate in Russia's cryptocurrency trading pilot program. This decision comes as the Russian State Duma passed a bill in July allowing digital currency trading on exchanges under central bank supervision. In contrast to MOEX's stance, the Saint Petersburg Stock Exchange (SPB Exchange) has indicated it will actively participate in the pilot project.
