TechFlow reported on September 6 that, according to Lookonchain monitoring data from September 3 to 5, three hackers collectively deposited 17,800 ETH—worth approximately $42.7 million—into the anonymous mixing protocol Tornado Cash. The attacker behind the Penpie hack deposited 9,600 ETH (about $23 million), the WazirX attacker deposited 7,200 ETH (around $17.3 million), and the hacker who previously attacked Bo Shen, founder of Distributed Capital, deposited 1,000 ETH (approximately $2.4 million).
