TechFlow news, on September 6, Casey Rodarmor, founder of Ordinals, publicly stated on social media that Rocktoshi is not a co-founder of Ordinals. Casey explained that although the two had known each other prior to the Ordinals project, Rocktoshi did not make any substantial contributions to the project's core development.
Casey revealed that in February 2023, Ordinals Corporation was briefly established, with Rocktoshi listed as one of four co-founders. However, the company existed for only three months and was unrelated to the development of the Ordinals protocol. After its dissolution, Rocktoshi repeatedly demanded $5 million from Casey, claiming it as "equity," and sent threatening and abusive emails. Casey noted that many individuals within the Ordinals ecosystem have had similar experiences with Rocktoshi, suffering threats, deception, and manipulation. Casey expressed regret for not exposing these issues earlier.
Previous reports indicated that on September 4, Rocktoshi claimed on social media to be a co-founder of Ordinals, asserting involvement in early code development and stating he left the team in March 2023. Casey's statement refutes this claim.
