TechFlow news, on September 6, according to NBC News, Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign raised over $300 million in August, more than double the amount raised by former President Donald Trump during the same period. Since President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 race on July 21, fundraising for Democratic presidential candidates has continued to surge significantly.
Two sources familiar with the matter said the over-$300-million figure includes funds raised by Harris's campaign and related entities. While exact numbers have not yet been disclosed, the data indicates that the influx of donations has not slowed since Biden dropped out. The next financial disclosure deadline for Harris's campaign is September 20. Sources also revealed plans for multiple fundraising events this month in cities including New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
