TechFlow news — Eigen Foundation announced this morning the launch of Season 2 Stakedrop for EIGEN, prior to token unlock. This initiative aims to recognize key contributors and participants within the ecosystem, including stakers, operators, ecosystem partners, and community members. Claiming will begin on or before September 17, 2024, Beijing time.
Eligible participants include users who staked ETH or EIGEN during Season 2. Direct stakers can claim via the portal, while LRT users must inquire with their respective LRT protocols regarding rewards and claiming procedures.
Ecosystem partners include qualified AVS, LRT, Rollup, and RaaS projects—key contributors to the EigenLayer ecosystem. Additionally, early supporters, contributors, and projects will also be eligible to participate.
Eigen Foundation stated that an upcoming programmable incentives program will deliver ongoing rewards to stakers and operators, featuring both retroactive incentives and a long-term sustainable model.
