TechFlow news — SlowMist founder Yu Xian issued a warning today stating that the private keys for DAI deployment on certain L2 networks have been leaked, causing recent DAI contract addresses on some L2s to be honeypot addresses controlled by attackers.
Yu Xian noted that the DAI contract addresses on Arbitrum and Optimism remain secure. However, DAI contracts at the same address on Base and Polygon have been confirmed as compromised.
He warned users that other L2 network deployments of DAI may also carry security risks and urged caution when interacting with them. He emphasized that the DAI contract on the Ethereum mainnet remains safe.
