TechFlow news, September 3 — According to The Block, FLock.io, a leading decentralized AI (dAI) company, announced it has been selected as the only AI recipient in the Ethereum Foundation's (EF) 2024 Academic Grants Program. This grant will accelerate FLock’s pioneering research into optimizing incentive tokenomics to curb malicious behaviors throughout the decentralized AI development lifecycle.
Previous report, FLock raised $6 million in seed funding in March this year and is building the world’s first collaborative dAI training platform featuring on-chain governance, AI model training, and hosting capabilities. Founded in London by a group of Oxford University graduates, the company aims to shift power from centralized corporations to communities. "Our research seeks to explore the frontier at the intersection of blockchain and AI ecosystems. We look forward to collaborating with a diverse community to revolutionize this space," said Jack Sun, CEO of FLock and researcher at Imperial College London.
