TechFlow News — Ripple has announced a partnership with AI and metaverse technology company Futureverse, under which Futureverse will integrate Ripple Custody to securely hold its digital assets. Futureverse will leverage its proprietary Ottó blockchain to enable secure and compliant KYC-verified access to DeFi. Ripple Custody will ensure cryptocurrencies are safely received and stored before being minted onto the Ottó blockchain.
Notably, both Ripple and Futureverse have long-standing involvement in the XRP Ledger (XRPL) ecosystem. Futureverse has adopted the XRPL NFT standard, uses XRP as the network's gas token, and integrates with the XRPL decentralized exchange (DEX) to provide network liquidity. In 2023, Ripple participated in Futureverse’s $54 million Series A funding round led by 10T Holdings.
