TechFlow reports, according to CyversAlerts' morning data monitoring, the attacker behind the WazirX exchange hack has begun transferring stolen funds to the anonymous mixing service Tornado Cash.
The hacking incident was initially disclosed by the Cyvers system on July 18, 2024, resulting in losses as high as $235 million. To date, the attacker has transferred 2,600 ETH (approximately $6.5 million) to Tornado Cash.
