TechFlow news, according to Jinshi Data, the United States is formulating new sanctions targeting Venezuelan government officials in response to the controversial re-election of President Maduro in July.
The U.S. Treasury is set to announce 15 individual sanctions against officials close to Maduro, accusing them of "obstructing free and fair presidential elections."
The U.S. says these measures target key leaders who collaborated with Maduro to undermine the July 28 vote, including members of electoral authorities, Venezuela's Supreme Court, National Assembly, as well as the National Intelligence Service and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence.
