TechFlow news: Cosmos Hub has released a new proposal delegating Zellic to conduct a third-party audit of its permissionless ICS functionality on behalf of Simply Staking.
The proposal aims to use community pool funds to audit the permissionless ICS feature, which allows anyone to create opt-in consumer chains. The audit will be carried out by renowned security firm Zellic, expected to take 2.4 calendar weeks at a cost of $90,000. The proposal also includes a 10% coordination fee, bringing the total budget to approximately $121,500 (about 24,850 ATOM).
Funds will be managed through a multisig wallet to ensure transparency. This audit aims to enhance the security and reliability of the Cosmos ecosystem, enabling faster and more convenient chain launches.
